Dear Readers,

With a fleet size of nearly 480 wide bodied aircrafts and another 400 more expected to be added in the next five years to cope with the burgeoning demand for air travel, it is indeed a reflection of the glorious heights being scaled by the Indian civil aviation sector. Last year itself with domestic passenger traffic of 100 million, we became the third largest domestic aviation market globally overtaking Japan and now only behind USA and China. Yes, we still have a long way to go because numbers only tell half the story but we are definitely on the right track.
